Custom-made mouth guards to protect your smile!
If any type of contact sport is played, it is essential that a properly fitted mouthguard is worn to protect the mouth and teeth from injury.
Fractured teeth playing contact sport without a properly fitted mouthguard can cause the need for complex and expensive dental treatment.
There are many different types of mouthguards depending on the type of sport. It is important to ask our dentists what mouthguard is best for you.
Mouthguards can be made in just about any colour combination or design.
It is important to wear the mouthguard to training sessions as well as the game to make sure teeth are protected from accidents.
What are Custom-Made Mouthguards?
Our mouthguards are appliances that are made to fit your mouth and provide protection to your teeth and jaw joints against injuries that occur while playing sports.
At Ormonde Dental Centre, we recommend mouthguards for active children and adults, especially for boxing, soccer, hockey and football, as sport is one of the most common causes of dental injury.
